WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN COMPARING PAVING QUOTES

Longevity

Bendigo Paving Plus lay all Paving in a cement base as past experience has shown that laying pavers in sand will not stand the test of time. We would prefer that in 12 months you are still enjoying your paved outdoor space and not being concerned with weeds popping up through the joins or movement. 


Correct Equipment

To ensure a quality Paving finish the right equipment has to be used. Typically you would expect a professional paver to have a Laser Level to ensure correct heights, compactor, possibly a Bobcat/Dingo for efficient excavation and good quality brick saw to ensure precision cutting.

Bendigo Paving Plus uses and supplies only quality materials including our Pavers, Cement, Limal, Brickies sand and Pavelock


Drainage **Very Important

Has the correct drainage been considered to ensure you do not end up with water that does not drain away and potentially affects the foundations of your home.


Correct Estimation of the number of pavers required

Is the estimate of the Pavers required correct or will there be an add on  for "additional pavers" at the completion of your project?

There are genuine times when this can occur however if cost of pavers is significantly cheaper between quotes then you need to be mindful of this.  What seemed a more cost effective solution initially when comparing different quotes may end up costing more if estimation was not done correctly by someone trained and experienced.
